BRAND IDENTITY

FALL 2019

What Was Asked:

826 chapters provide students from under-resourced neighborhoods access to high-quality, engaging and free writing programs. Each chapter has an imaginative storefront that reimagines educational spaces.

The Outcome:

My version of 826 is called STIRRUP, which is a fun, exciting place where you can watch animals riding other animals in a high stakes race for the championship! The goal is for the animals to inspire children to always try their best and give it there all no matter what the circumstances are!

Louisville is well known for the Kentucky Derby. I thought it would be a fun twist to play with the idea of an animal riding another animal derby for this 826 theme.

Of course I couldn't go without making saddle products for cats and dogs! This way people's household pets can join the fun. Plus if they take their pet's photos with the saddles it will spread the message of the brand!

It was fun making the icons for this brand, especially the animals! My favorite animal riding pair is the cat riding the chicken!
